1. Allow the Florida Tech Alumni Connections Facebook Application
Visit the following link: http://apps.facebook.com/floridait-alumni/. You should see a screen that looks like the one below. Simply click "Allow" to begin the process of adding the Florida Tech Alumni Connections application. You will be redirected to a screen that looks like the one in step 2.
2. Link your Facebook account to Florida Tech Online Community
Click "Link your Facebook account," enter your Florida Tech Online Community username and password and click "Login". You will be redirected back to the main Alumni Connections application page.
3. Bookmark the Florida Tech Alumni Connections Application
While logged into the Florida Tech Alumni Connections application, you have the option to bookmark the application to your Facebook account. Click on the "Bookmark Florida Institute of Technoloby Alumni Connections" link found on the bottom bar.
After adding the bookmark, you'll bottom bar will change to the one seen below, and you can access the Alumni Connections application from anywhere on Facebook.Add the Florida Tech Alumni Connections Application to your profile.
4. Add the Florida Tech Alumni Connections Application to your profile
Add the Alumni Connections application to your profile for your friends to see. Simply click the "Add to Profile" button.
A sub-window will pop up, like the one below, asking you to confirm your decision. Click "Add" and you'll be redirected to your profile page.
A preview of the profile box will appear on your profile. Click "Keep" to save the box to your profile. You can now show off your Panther pride to all your friends through your personalized profile box.
5. Invite your friends to join
You can invite your fellow alumnae to join you on the Florida Tech Alumni Connections application. To do so, just click the "Invite Friends" button near the bottom of the application home page.
This will expand a new section where you can search for your friends on Facebook or type in their email addresses. Add up to 8 friends and click the "Send Alumni Connection Invitation" button. Now you're friends can join in on the Alumni Connections application as well!
