Crisis Management Policy (Florida Tech Policy 5.4)

In crisis situations and before any statements or press releases are issued, the Director of University Communications and the executive within whose jurisdiction the matter falls, with concurrence of the president, will determine who shall act as the university's spokesperson on the issue at hand.  The full policy is available on the Human Resources webpage.

Safety Policy (Florida Tech Policy 5.11)

Most codes of safe practices are merely common sense and good judgment while some are specific and address the appropriate way to avoid working unsafe. Others result from Federal and State regulatory standards and are subject to significant penalties including fines and in some instances, incarceration or both.  The full policy is available on the Human Resources webpage.

Worker's Compensation (Florida Tech Policy 6.13)

The Florida Workers' Compensation Law requires employers to provide workers' compensation insurance to their full -time and part-time employees by providing necessary medical treatment and covered medical expenses and compensating workers who experience work-related illnesses or injuries, and are unable to work as a result of their illnesses or injuries.
