Professional Experience

Mrs. Wallace has taught at Florida Tech since the 1980s and has previously taught at the high school level in Indiana.  She serves as Writing Consultant in the Academic Support Center and supervises the Advanced Standing Testing for COM 1101 and COM 1102.

Additional Duties

Editing:  She continues to edit publications for Michele Campanelli which have appeared in national publications such as the Chicken Soup series. Now,  she edits her church "Membership Spotlight" columns and newscasts as well as puppet skits for local performances.

Publications:  She published  "Time Divided" in Kaleidosope and performed live for "Dante's Dreaming" program.  She composed and presented the eulogy for Mary B. Mullins, a beloved colleague.  Additionally, she wrote "Packed Classrooms Prevent Learning" for Florida Today.

Oral Presentations: Mrs. Wallace spoke on "Defeating Amentment 8" for the Palm Bay Democratic Club. Also, she presented "Beyond 'It Was a Dark and Stormy Night' " to the Florida Writers Association.

Vocal Performances: She studies professional voice with Ms. Sherry MacLean to enhance her performances at local nursing homes and day care facilities.
