I am an instructor, librarian, and lover of information. I teach writing and research-specific subjects, and was awarded the 2015 Florida Library Association Exemplary Instructional Programs or Services award for leading a willing and wonderful team in designing and delivering Florida Institute of Technology's first MOOC.

Professional Experience

I have taught Mastering eLearning, Basic Writing, Composition and Rhetoric, and Research Sources and Systems here at FIT, and Preparatory Writing and Information and Technology Literacy for Eastern Florida State College. Before my academic career, I wrote instructor and student manuals, maintenance manuals, user documentation, and engineering support materials as a technical writer in the network communications and military simulation & training industries.
