Careers in Applied Behavior Analysis

Work in Clinical and Occupational Career Environments

Careers in applied behavior analysis are specialized and found in a field that is expected to grow in the coming years. This means the scales are tipped in favor of an applied behavior analysis major who leaves college to find a job after graduation.

Those graduating with a bachelor's degree in applied behavior analysis typically find careers in clinical psychology and as consultants. However, a variety of other psychology-related work-fields are attainable with this degree, including:

  • counseling
  • therapy
  • psychiatry
  • teaching

Immediately Enter the Workforce or Pursue Graduate School

Review the Occupational Outlook Handbook published by the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to see the diversity behavior analysis jobs can provide including (but not limited to) the following:
