Choose Florida Tech for Information Technology Management Degree

On-Campus and Virtual Team Learning on Cutting-Edge Topics

One of the reasons why students choose the Nathan M. Bisk College of Business at Florida Tech for information technology management is because our learning environment is a tight-knit department where students are challenged, yet well supported by faculty and staff. Florida Tech students benefit from small class sizes, something not often found in larger institutions. This allows for a personalized interaction with faculty mentors.

Faculty Bring the Latest Developments Right into the Classroom

Students in this program learn to integrate dynamic information systems with complex business processes, making them confident decision-makers and apt problem-solvers.

With student success of utmost importance at Florida Tech, professors make sure that information technology management students are privy to valuable industry knowledge and expertise. These experienced faculty members, who have diverse industry backgrounds, are active consultants who provide qualified instruction based on real-world experience through hands-on projects, events, promotions or internships.

Program Curriculum Delivers an International Perspective

Because The Nathan M. Bisk College of Business is internationally focused, students gain a wealth of exposure to international learning opportunities. For example, students:

  • Learn alongside international peers both on campus and through virtual teams
  • Study abroad
  • Take advantage of international internships
  • Work closely with high quality faculty who have expertise in various international business disciplines such as economics, accounting, management, finance and marketing
  • Participate in innovative class projects

Information technology management program students hone their international business skills through hands-on projects and national competitions such as:

  • Strategic Management Intercollegiate Case Competition
  • Cadillac Case Competition, where Florida Tech students placed fourth among 53 universities
  • ANGA Collegiate Energy Challenge
  • Honda CRZ Social Marketing Challenge
  • Florida National Guard Promotion Challenge

Easy Access to High-tech Facilities and Resources

In addition to the support of our dedicated faculty, students have easy access to high-tech facilities and resources on campus to support their studies. As part of the information technology management program, students can explore business startup as their Major Field Practicum experience in Florida Tech's Student Business Incubator, a living, breathing center for new venture creation. Students may also choose to receive direct instructional help from our Academic Support Center.

Great Florida Location

Located on the Space Coast, Florida Tech is in close proximity to local business partners such as Northrop Grumman, Kennedy Space Center and NASA. Year-round warm weather, close proximity to beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches, NASA Kennedy Space Center, the Indian River Lagoon, Port Canaveral, Sebastian Inlet and a wealth of entertainment in Orlando make Florida Tech the college of choice for an information technology management degree.
