Explore Real-World Logistics Topics

Students earning a bachelor’s degree in logistics management conduct meaningful industry research under the mentorship of professors. Distinguished faculty members hold diverse career backgrounds in the military (or with military contractors), government agencies or private corporations. This experience enables them to provide current, in-demand content in logistics, acquisition and transportation, material handling, inventory control, warehousing and more.

Research is a critical component to every degree program at Florida Tech, and students earning a logistics management degree explore practical industry scenarios and problems to gain deeper insights into the work they’ll do on the job.

As a result of research and analysis, students often have an opportunity to be published in relevant industry magazines or journals such as:

  • Logistics Management
  • Journal of Logistics Management
  • Material Handling & Logistics
  • International Journal of Logistics Management
  • Logistics Spectrum

Students can also choose to continue their research in the Florida Tech master’s or doctoral degree program in logistics management.
