Flexibility and convenience

Courses are taught in a traditional format, meeting one night a week to accommodate students who are employed full-time. Students may also choose to complete course work in a distance learning format, which utilizes a virtual classroom, discussion boards and email exchanges. In either case, students have the opportunity to complete their master’s degree within two years, or at their own pace.

Florida Tech understands that today’s work force is often on-the-move to different geographic locations. Students who relocate while pursuing a degree may finish their program through distance learning courses or at one of the other Florida Tech off-campus sites in the United States.

Application and admission processes

Applications for admission can submitted online. Potential students are encouraged to review the admission and academic policies. The tuition, fees and payment policies are regularly updated on the Web site.

FIT Southern Maryland does allow students to enroll in classes during the admission process. More information about the admissions process, obtaining transcripts, the GRE and the GMAT can be obtained from the Southern Maryland site director.
