About FIT Spaceport

Graduate degree programs at the Spaceport off-campus site are offered in the Center for Space Education at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, giving students the chance to pursue a master's degree at an off-campus location near Florida Tech's main campus in Melbourne.

Most students say their goal of attaining a master's degree is to improve their professional and technical competencies, and enhance their career development and progression. Carrying a normal load of two courses each semester, a qualified student can earn a master's degree in approximately six semesters or two years.

Students take all their classes at our Spaceport site at Kennedy Space Center. On occasion, and when absolutely necessary, a student may take some class or classes at Florida Tech's main campus in Melbourne. Florida Tech faculty are dedicated professionals and have extensive experience in their respective fields, combined with a passion for higher education.
