Visit Incentives
Don't let the burden of travel costs deter you from an invaluable visit experience. Florida Tech offers a number of unique incentives that will make a visit worth your while.
$1,000 Visit Grant for new students
If you make a visit to the university (a regular daily campus visit or one of our open house events) are admitted, and enroll at the Melbourne campus, a $1,000 Visit Grant will be credited to your student account. This grant is renewable for four years (for a total of $4,000!).
Application Fee Waiver
If you complete an application during your visit, we'll waive your $50 application fee.
Additional Benefits
The value of a visit to Florida Tech (or any university for that matter) cannot be overstated. Beyond the perks listed above, a campus visit will almost always save you time and money in the long run. Campus visits:
- help you refine your preferences
- confirm or contradict your expectations
- are the only way to see if you feel "at home" at a university (or not)
The knowledge gained as a result can help you cull your list from many to a few, which means fewer application fees, less travel, and perhaps even fewer lost deposits. The fact is, students who do not visit a university prior to enrolling are far more likely to withdraw during the first semester.
